Are you interested in starting a building project in Mountain View? We are here to help you get started!
All owners with proposed building projects have the option to request a DRC meeting to discuss any questions you may have. At this stage, the project does not need to be finalized or professionally presented. Submit a completed copy of this request form to schedule the meeting. The more information you are able to provide, the better feedback you will receive. But if you do not have a full sense of the project yet, and are needing the feedback to get started, just share what you do know and let’s take it from there!
The Public Works Coordinator, members from SafeBuilt, and additional town staff will provide comments to assist you in moving forward.
Participants can attend in person at Town Hall or via Zoom.
The DRC meeting is not a formal review and no decision will be made on your proposal, but it is a highly recommended step in the submission process.
DRC meetings are scheduled for the first and third Thursday of each month (except for Holidays) between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
The DRC meeting is a free service for property owners in Mountain View, and community members will be scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis for the next available meeting time once the request has been submitted. If you have a preference on which Thursday you are scheduled, please be sure to note it on the form.
Submittal Requirements:
- Completed Meeting Request Form
- Sketch plan (if you can provide anything of this nature, given the status of your project)
If you prefer to fill out the PDF, forms may be submitted to Town Hall during regular business hours.
