2025 Municipal Election Forms for Candidates

  • Municipal candidates for office are required to file reports of contributions and expenditures with the Town Clerk via clerk [at] tomv.org (clerk[at]tomv[dot]org).
     
  • Candidates do not need to form a committee if they are only expending their own personal funds and not receiving contributions.
     
  • Candidates who receive contributions must register a candidate committee with the Town Clerk before accepting contributions and file disclosure reports as a committee.
     
  • Use the New Committee Registration Form to form a committee. The completed form must be emailed to clerk [at] tomv.org (clerk[at]tomv[dot]org) 
     
  • Both committees and stand alone candidates use the Municipal Campaign Finance Contributions and Expenditures Report to file their disclosures.
     
  • The Municipal Campaign Finance Contributions and Expenditures Report should be accompanied by an attached itemization of items received or spent, including dates, source (full name of individual or organization), exact dollar amount, and the occupation of the individual source for donations over $100.00.
     
  • There is a $50.00 per day penalty for late filings.
     
  • Dates for filing are listed on the 2025 Election Calendar, as well as on the Municipal Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Report
